Scope

This policy explains how Samadhan Guide handles information collected through samadhanguide.online and its order support. Shopify hosts our store and processes information for its own services under its privacy policy.

Information you provide

We collect the guide recipient’s name, optional family name, selected deity, concern category and short description, chosen language, delivery email and optional WhatsApp number. Orders also include purchase and payment-status information. Shopify and payment providers process checkout and payment data; do not put card details in the personalisation form. Technical information such as IP address, browser, device, cookies and activity may be processed by the storefront and enabled services.

Your concern can be sensitive

Your deity choice and concern may reveal religious beliefs or health, relationship or financial information. Provide only the brief context needed for a devotional guide. Do not include medical records, financial account numbers, identity documents or private information about others. Get permission before entering another adult’s personal details. An adult should place orders relating to a child and avoid identifying or sensitive information about the child.

Why we use information

We use it to take payment, personalise and deliver the guide, provide purchased bonus access and updates, respond to support, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. AI services are used to generate the personalised text and may process the name, selected deity, language and concern you submit. Automated output can be imperfect. We do not use a concern to make decisions about your eligibility for credit, employment, insurance or medical care.

Service providers and disclosures

Shopify, payment processors and service providers for AI generation, storage, email delivery, security and support may process the information needed for their role. Some providers may process data outside India. We may disclose information when legally required or to protect legitimate rights. We do not sell your personal concern or contact details. We do not publish your guide, story or review without permission.

Cookies and communication

Essential cookies support storefront and checkout functionality. Analytics or advertising tools may use additional cookies if enabled, with consent where required. You can use available privacy controls and browser settings. Order and purchased-update emails are service messages. Promotional emails require a separate opt-in or another lawful basis; unsubscribe options apply to promotional messages. Adding a WhatsApp number alone does not subscribe you to marketing.

Retention and security

We keep order, delivery and support information for as long as reasonably needed for the purchase, access to purchased updates, disputes and legal records. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymise information where feasible. Access is restricted to authorised services and people who need it. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

You may request access, correction, deletion or withdrawal of consent where applicable. We may verify a request using your order details. Some records must be retained for legal obligations or disputes. Deletion of data needed to generate or deliver an order can prevent that service; applicable refund rights remain intact. We will explain the effect before acting on such a request.

Contact and changes

For order support, refunds, privacy requests or complaints, write to support@samadhanguide.online. Include your order number and order email when relevant. Do not send passwords, OTPs, payment card details or identity documents.

We may update this policy as our services change. The current version and revision date are shown here; material changes will be communicated where required.
